| EvilVegan12-05-06, 09:21 PM | The entries for druid and cleric both clearly state that a cleric can "lose" any prepared slot to fuel a spontaneous spell, with domain spells being unavailable for cures. Now, with a strict RAW approach this would mean that he could burn all his druid and wizard spells as cure spells and then burn through his cleric spells, including domain slots, as summon nature's ally, since the restriction on domain spells is only specifically for cures. Anyone want to fight about it? :D I think it is interesting that the spontaneous summoner and healer feats specify that they have to be spells from your class list, but the druid/cleric abilities do not state this. So a cleric spontaneously burning a druid spell as a cure could cast a 2nd level spell from the cleric list (technically speaking). |
