| Tony11110-19-06, 05:39 PM | Dear Forum: Suppose I am a cleric and I have a metamagic feat like empower. If I use my ability to spontaneously convert a spell into a cure spell of the same level, can I also spontaneously add a metamagic feat? For example, could I sacrifice freedom of movement to cast empowered cure moderate wounds [yes, I know this is silly, but bear with me]? Or could I only sacrifice freedom of movement to cast cure critical wounds? Thanks for any insight, -Tony |

Extra time is also required in this case. Casting a 1-action metamagic spell spontaneously is a full-round action, and a spell with a longer casting time takes an extra full-round action to cast. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicOverview/divineSpells.htm |
