Can Dispelling Screen Work This Way? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-12-07, 09:46 PM If a dispelling screen (SC page 67) is cast as a "wall" in front of wizard could it effectively block a lightning bolt spell or fireball that an enemy tried to cast through it? Conversely as a downside one really would not be able to cast outwards from behind the wall either - right?

08-13-07, 08:52 AM That is indeed what is intended by the spell description. Is there any way in which you had imagined to use a Dispelling Screen other than as a screen that dispels spells going through it...?
