Can Elven Cats be familiar? If so how do I write it up?

you mean the cooshie? *sp

I believe that there is/was a feat in races of the wild perhaps? or another supplement with advanced familiars or maybe this was for animal companions (although there is a players option that substitutes animal companions for familiars)

You're thinking of the Elven hound.

Cooshie = Cu Sidhe = (roughly) fairy dog

For my games, I use the stats for Elven cats found here, the first bestiary. (http://www.ericlboyd.com/dnd/monsters.html) It's 3.0, so you'll have to do a little readjusting. Just use the normal cat as a guideline.

I would let an arcanist have one as a familiar if they take the improved familiar feat. Likely at caster level 3.
