Once I Reach a cure spell (range=touch) it becomes a ray. A ray need a targets. So I get a specific target, a requisite of Chain Spell. I believe I have all the bases covered? Is there something against it? Thx |

If a spell is targeted, then the spell's entry will have a line in the header that says Target : (something). A Targeted spell automatically affects the targets (unless it has a range of touch, in which case it requires a melee touch attack roll). Spells that produce rays do not have a Target entry, so they are not targeted. The ray they produce is aimed at a target, but the mechanism is not Targeting. Thus you cannot chain a Ray spell. |
