Can I emulate a "Brd 6, Sor/Wiz 8" spell with a Miracle? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-01-04, 11:35 PM Can I emulate (for example) “Otto Irresistible Dance” (Brd 6, Sor/Wiz 8) with a “Miracle” spell?

Miracle says: “Duplicate any other spell of 7th level or lower.”

But “Otto” is 8th level for Wiz/Sor and 6th for bards…

What do you think?

03-02-04, 05:05 AM Of course you can, it says ANY spell of 7th or lower level, doesnt have to be from the Wiz/Sorc list, if had to be, it would have said so :D

For example Heal with Limited Wish... (Heal is 5th level Adept spell...)

Of course it's great unless your DM disallows it, saying that the level at which primary casters get it always takes precedence over level for secondary casters.
