It requires knowing a 3rd level spell with the acid descriptor, and we couldn't find one in a 3.5 WoTC book. I think what I've got is viable, but I would appreciate the help. Caustic Spray Conjuration (Creation) [Acid] Level: 3 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: 25 ft. Area: Cone-shaped burst Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Reflex half (see text) Spell Resistance: Yes A cone of acid shoots from your fingertips. Any creature in the area of the spray takes 1d6 points of acid damage per caster level (maximum 10d6). All targets who fail their reflex saves are also sickened for one round. Material component: A pinch of sulfur mixed in water. On a related note, does anyone know of a 3rd level spell out there that would work? I know we could just make an acid (fire)ball or acid (lightning) bolt, but he didn't want to go that route. So if anyone knows of such a spell, let me know. |
