hello all,
i have a question, can the effects of megical items accumelate, for example megical armor +1 ring of protection +1 and a spell of something like magic vestment of +2 for a total of +4?

thanks

Short answer yes.

Long answer, the majority of bonuses ( not just to AC ) have names.
For example luck, enhancement, morale, and many many others.
Bonuses stack if they have different names( or no name at all).
Only exception I can think of are dodge bonuses which all stack.

On further thought your example is incorrect because the +1 on
the armor is an enhancement bonus as is the bonus from the Magic
Vestment spell. So the bonus in your example is +3 total. One from
the ring and 2 from the spell, plus base AC from the armor.

Hopefully my rambling was helpful to ya.

Gah someday I'll figure out the formatting on this site...or maybe not
