The No save version is subject to spell turning?

In case the answer is YES,,,, how will you rule it if that's the case, since you're hitting the target four times? Rolled a 4 (10 levels of spell turning)

1) the first meteor rebounds, and the other 3 hit (with a 10% of rebound of one of the 3)?

2) All four hit and are turned back?

thanks :D

I think its no, meteor swarm is still an area spell, even if the area is centered on your head. And since spell turning can't stop area spells, it can't stop the meteors.

But it would make sense for it to be able to reflect the ranged touch meteors. And it would stop all 4 (provided they all "hit"), unless you don't have enough spell turning left to affect the spell.

spells with out a Target: line in thier statistic block can not be turned period.

what sense would there be in being able to reflect the ranged touch meteors, when you can't reflect a disintegrate or Melf's Acid Arrow?

I am fairly sure spell turning can reflect back a disintegrate ray since it does in fact target you and it has a range of ranged touch rather than touch. Even if that doesn't work thank epic for exceptional deflection which can deflect any ray or ranged touch effect (even a meteor from meteor swarm).

it doesn't...

from the SRD

Spell Turning
Abjuration
Level: Luck 7, Magic 7, Sor/Wiz 7
Components: V, S, M/DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: Until expended or 10 min./level
Spells and spell-like effects targeted on you are turned back upon the original caster. The abjuration turns only spells that have you as a target. Effect and area spells are not affected. Spell turning also fails to stop touch range spells. and

Disintegrate
Transmutation
Level: Destruction 7, Sor/Wiz 6
Components: V, S, M/DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect: Ray
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Fortitude partial (object)
Spell Resistance: Yes

it doesn't matter that you have to aim the spell at a "target" spell turning only affects spells with a Target: entry in thier stat block (and a range greater then touch). if it has doesn't have a Target: entry it will have either an Effect: or an Area: entry, in which case it can't be turned. All spells have one of those three entries in thier stat block.

as for Exceptional Deflection... ignoring the fact that it will seldom come into play in any normal game, it is a 3.0 feat that would need to be revised to conform to the changes to the deflect arrows feat between 3.0 and 3.5 (deflect arrows is actually quite a bit better in 3.5 then it was in 3.0... and makes the epic feat based upon it pretty much broken).

How about spells that have many targets, and they are not solely targeted at the Spell Turning protected person, such as Magic Missile, Implosion and Horrid Wilting and Slow?
If I were targeted by 2 out of 4 magic missiles would those two rebound on the caster?

So both, examples in the player's handbook, inflict critical wounds (a touch spell) and fear (area spell), shouldn't be there, right?
I checked the errata on player's handbook and they have only replaced inflict critical wounds with magic missile.

Another situation: how about in the case of a beholder attack. It says in the monster manual that all spells fired by beholder eyes are rays, although some of the spell themselves are "target" spells in the player's handbook (e.g. charms etc.). Should spell turning rebound those spells?

So both, examples in the player's handbook, inflict critical wounds (a touch spell) and fear (area spell), shouldn't be there, right? correct, why they did not replace the fear spell in the example as well I have no idea, but it should be noted that all of the books do contain more errors then the errata files cover (also note that examples in the books are often at odds with the rule that is written near them, for example the monk vampire example in the MM can energy drain with every unarmed attack, where as the Vampire template says that a vampire an use its energy drain once per round; this is also not in the MM errata).

Personaly I would say no to turning a beholders eye rays, based mostly on the quote from MM page 25:

Each eyes effect resembles a spell (caster level 8 for gauth, or 14th for beholder), but follows the rules for a ray.
