yes, magic weapon and magic fang work on a monk, however I don't believe they stack.

I was thinking more of a permanent enchantment. Magic fang/weapon are a bit weak for what I'm looking for.

Kensai can permanently enchant their own natural weapons. But then again ultra lawful warrior may not be what you're going for.

I personally houserule to allow monks to enchant fistwraps or the like. It's not as if just because a piece of cloth is being used to hit people rather than hurl rocks its suddenly un-enchantable.

Also with a bit of house rling, I'm sure your DM would allow it. Maybe once you start getting the Overcome certain DRs.

Ki Strike doesn't make your Unarmed Strikes magical. They are only treated as magic for the purpose of overcoming DR. But more importantly, Unarmed Strike, as well as any other natural weapon, fail to meet a vital prereq that qualifies them to be enchanted via the Craft Magical Arms and Armor feat.

Only a masterwork weapon can become a magic weapon, and the masterwork cost is added to the total cost to determine final market value. Additional magic supplies costs for the materials are subsumed in the cost for creating the magic weapon—half the base price given on Table: Weapons, according to the weapon’s total effective bonus.

No matter how awesome your unarmed strikes get, they will never become masterwork weapons.

However, you can overcome this by getting a Amulet of Natural Attacks (Savage Species). This item allows you to place weapon enchantments into it and have them apply to natural attacks.

Considering that monk's fists cannot be sundered or disarmed, I wouldn't really allow their unarmed strikes to be enchanted.

There is an amulet in Savage species which lets you add weapon enhancements to your natural attacks. Considering that the monk's body is considered 1 whole weapon, it is significantly cheaper than the amulet of mighty fists (which was priced with 3 natural weapons in mind).

Ah, found it from this article here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fc/20060707a), so don't come complaining about me breaching any CoC rules.;)

Necklace of Natural Attacks (from Savage Species): The enhancement bonus on this necklace is applied to attack and damage rolls involving one or more of the wearer's natural weapons. In addition, any weapon special quality applied to this necklace also applies to those natural weapons. For instance, a +1 throwing returning necklace of natural weapons would apply its enhancement bonus as well as the throwing and returning special abilities to one or more of the wearer's natural weapons.

Caster Level: 3rd; Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, Craft Magic Arms and Armor; Market Price: 600 gp, plus the cost of the enhancement bonuses, times by the number of natural weapons affected. (Thus, a +1 necklace of natural weapons that affects one natural weapon costs 2,600 gp. If the same necklace affects six natural weapons, it costs 15,600 gp.) Weight: --.

Should be enough to get the ball rolling.:)

Bracers of Striking (Magic of Faerun) allow you to add non-enhancement properties (like Shock or Holy) to your unarmed strikes. Combine those with an Amulet of Mighty Fists and you're pretty much set, although it will be a bit on the expensive side.

Eh mute point, extra amulets or bracers are worthless.

I think there is an item (MoF) if i remember correctly, a neck, that also allows enchants on it to work on unarmed strikes.

Greater Magic Fang + Permanancy. A bit pricy though with permanency, but you can ask your DM that one casting could Permenate your entire limb, so it'll only cost you 4-5 Permanency's

Personally, I would allow one of my PC's to obtain a +3 disruption Amulet of Mighty Fists, for the price of a +5 amulet, and let they guy loose boxing vampires. I don't see a problem with it, and I don't see why another item should be required to get that sort of effect (I also don't see why the AoMF is priced the way it is, but that's another topic.).

You could use the permanancy spell with greater magic fang, but this has a rather high xp cost and is fairly easy to dispell. but untill dispelled the enchantment would be permenant.

Greater Magic Fang + Permanancy. A bit pricy though with permanencyAbout 9k gp for GMF +5.

but you can ask your DM that one casting could Permenate your entire limb, so it'll only cost you 4-5 Permanency'sActually, (unless she is TWF'ing) the monk only has one 'unarmed strike' attack that is simply used multiple times. Even though the monk can strike with multiple parts of her body, this is still technically only one 'weapon'. Only one casting of GMF is needed.

You could use the permanancy spell with greater magic fang, but this has a rather high xp cost and is fairly easy to dispell.Note that Greater Magic Fang +5 (at Caster Level 20) could not be dispelled with a regular dispel magic (the DC would be too high). One would need to use Greater dispel magic to do so (and even then the caster might have a hard time).

A ring of counterspells loaded with greater dispel magic could prevent this for targeted greater dispels, while several CL 21 magic mouths could ward off area greater dispels.

A monk’s unarmed strike is treated both as a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either manufactured weapons or natural weapons.
It really isn't up for debate. Monks can enchant themselves with magical properties.

It really isn't up for debate. Monks can enchant themselves with magical properties.1) It actually is up for debate.
2) It's technically "enhance" rather than "enchant" (since the latter means something different in D&D)
3) A monk's unarmed strike is not a masterwork weapon
4) The 3.5 FAQ says:
"Can a monk get her unarmed strike enhanced as a
magic weapon?
No. Even a magic gauntlet or spiked gauntlet isn’t the ideal
answer, since these aren’t listed as special monk weapons (and
therefore aren’t as versatile as unarmed strikes).
The amulet of mighty fists (Dungeon Master’s Guide, 246)
grants the wearer an enhancement bonus on unarmed and
natural weapon attacks, which would include the monk’s
unarmed strike."
