| Joseph_Silver09-04-06, 11:54 AM | No. |
| RedRory09-04-06, 06:11 PM | Like the other poster I would have to say no. But I'm assuming the question only comes up because of the description of the phantasmal image in the PHB. From the text one could imagine the phantasmal image could exist outside of the anti-magic field but still be within range to affect the target. But the target of the spell is the living creature within the Anti-Magic field and that is impervious to any spell. |

I can't seem to find it in the SRD, but I'm pretty sure that if the spell allows for Spell Resistance, that it can't overcome the antimagic field. And since phantasmal killer allows for SR, it will not effect one protected by antimagic field. |

Note, because Anti-Magic field also surpresses magic, you can not (willingly or unwillingly) teleport out of an Anti-Magic field. You could however teleport from one side of it to another, even though the Anti-Magic Field entirely blocks a stone passageway. |
| runestar09-06-06, 01:10 AM | You could however teleport from one side of it to another, even though the Anti-Magic Field entirely blocks a stone passageway. Teleportation is essentially instantaneous travel through the astral plane to your destination, that's why it has no need for line of effect. You are in effect simply walking to wherever you want to go, just that the time spent is 0. That's why an AMF would not block you - since you can always just go round it.;) |
