I figure Acid is the easiest, I mean, could you drop a 15D6 orb of acid into some sort of an acid proof container, then, at a later time, throw it at someone for 15d6 damage? or keep some "Orbs of Force" lying around to suprise or confuse people? |
| Thiez04-05-07, 09:15 AM | That's the crappy stuff about conjuration spells. The PHB Core spell Acid Splash has the same problem. I don't think it's possible to 'save' acid from those spells. Or orbs of force. I mean, how stupid are those?! |

Of course the 1st edition gamer in me says the acid trick might work but still no. The rest are forms of energy and would dissipate. However, there is no such thing as an acid proof container. Conjured acid is not a specific chemical compound that does not react to certain materials like glass. It is a super acid (like Alien Blood) that damages absolutely any material. You could drop it in an adamantine flask and after the 15 die orb ate through the bottom (Hardness 20 and 40 Hp/in) its effectiveness would be used up. And you just ruined a very expensive bottle. |
