| AsmodeusLore01-11-06, 09:01 PM | I've got a cleric who wants to cast Mass Cure Moderate Wounds. But instead of targetting seperate people, he wants to retarget the same person over and over again. I didn't see anything explicitely preventing you from retargetting the same target with a spell like this, but I didn't see anything say it was possible either. It doesn't seem to unbalance the game, but I don't know... Some help please? For those curious, my calculations say a Heal spell is guaranteed to do 110 points of health restored, for a level 11 caster. A Cure Mod. Wounds, Mass(assuming you retarget the same person 11 times) will do 110 points of health restored, on average. However, there is the potential to do more, or do less healing, depending on the roll of the dice. This makes me think that Game Balance isn't an issue, since the average is the same, and the possibility is even of doing better or worse than the standard spell. |

| primemover00301-11-06, 09:37 PM | No you can't... that's just twinkish munchkinism at it's worst. The purpose of Mass spells is to allow a large number of people to receive a spell effect that normally is for a single target (Haste to Mass Haste, CLW to Mass CLW) and thus the spell is a higher level. Don't feed the Munchkins. |
