Hallo! Could you help me price this thingy? Cap of bloody dread: This white or red kerchief contains the fury of a pirate of yore. When tied around the head of a chaotic evil character, his strength score is replaced by 19 unless higher already, and he a +5 competence bonus to spot, listen, and swim checks. The strength score granted canīt be increased any further; if the wearerīs strength is buffed, then his temporary strength bonus is affected, but it must surpass 19 for any effect. The powers of the cap only start there, though. The wearer of the cap can only speak in the following languages: Abyssal, Infernal, Auran, Aquan or Ignan (and if he doesnīt know any of those languages, he canīt speak at all). If the wearer doesnīt know how to speak those languages, the cap doesnīt convey the ability to do so. Spells and spell-like abilities are prohibited, too. Finally, the wearer of the cap can enter a state similar to a barbarian rage thrice per day. He gains a +2 morale bonus to constitution (since the strength score canīt be altered), a +1 morale bonus to will saves, and a -2 penalty to AC. The fit of rage lasts for 4 rounds plus the wearerīs constitution modifier. Moderate enchantment; CL 9th; Craft Wondrous Item, baleful polymorph, rage, silence, creator must have 5 ranks in spot, listen and swim and be chaotic evil; Price 18.375 gp.
