Caster Level? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-15-04, 08:18 PM What is the caster level of a ftr10/knight of the middle circle10? Knight of the Middle Circle is from Defenders of the Faith. I have no clue how to determine the caster level, because it doesn't tell you in the class description...

10-15-04, 09:11 PM I believe that it would be CL 10. The fighter does not have a caster level, so the PrC is the only class granting a CL.

Think of it this way. A WIZ 3/CLR 5 is a CL 3/CL 5. He is not a CL 8.

If it was a CLR 10/ KotMC 10, it would still be CL 10 because the PrC does not grant +1 Spellcasting level. The PrC has its spells, and therefore, its own CL.
