Casting Blink with a Material target [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-17-06, 02:39 AM Is there any chance for failure when casting a spell on a target on the material plane when under the effects of the blink spell? The text isn't quite clear on it but I may be insane.

If you happen to be on the ethereal plane at the wrong time, practically nothing you do will influence the material plane at all.

Err...this is if the *caster* is under the Blink spell.
If the *target* is, it's a bit more complicated.

All the benefits (plus a couple more), none of the drawbacks.
