I had a question about the Dweomerkeeper's ability mantle of spells, you chose a spell and you can convert any spell of that level or higher into that spell. My question is if I chose celerity which has a casting time of immediate can I convert a spell when its not my turn to cast celerity. The special ability does not state what kind of action it is to convert, but I am not sure if I can because it is not my turn.

Should work just like the clerics spontanously converting XXX into healing spells.

But the problem is I have never seen an immediate action cure spell so I am not sure if I can convert on someone elses turn, even though celerity has an immediate casting time.

I don't think I'd let you do that, since I'm pretty sure spontaneously converting a spell is not an immediate action. I don't have anything to support this off the top of my head and I'm away from my books right now, but something about allowing spontaneous conversion of spells as an immediate action doesn't seem right to me....

He's not asking that, he's asking about a specific instance where his character wishes to convert a random spell into Celerity which has a casting time of 1 Immediate Action.

I'd say yah its ok, but you still have to follow all the rules involved with using an Immediate Action.

Thanks alot for the input if anyone is not sure what I mean it would be the same thing as taking the signiture spell feat and choosing feather fall. Even though feather fall can be cast at any time could you convert to it at any time?
