| mregecko01-30-07, 11:04 AM | This spell is Cleric3/Druid4 from Complete Divine (p.158). For those that don't remember, it basically lets you see through a target's eyes... Anyone that they subsequently touch, you can opt to see through their eyes instead. It's like a viral form of scrying. My question is regarding saves. It says in the spell stats "Will Negates". However, is this only the ORIGINAL "Target: Living creature touched"? The spell says nothing about subsequent saves for transferring remote-site to new people touched. IF subsequent persons touched receive a will save, are they aware of the fact that they are saving? i.e. will they be alerted "Oh cripes, someone just tried to see through my eyes!" The spell text specifically states the usefulness of the spell is to "Infiltrate a closely guarded area", so I cannot imagine that anyone would be alerted... Otherwise it isn't very useful for that, now is it? I can't find a good answer for this... Please advise. -- Gecko |

The trick is to stick with commoners. That is, start with the maid, let her wander around, then get the private guarding the kitchen, then the waitress, etc. etc. |

As PC's we know "Uh oh, we just had to roll a will save... what's up?" Do NPC's have the same 'intuition'? Maybe they would get a spellcraft check to see if they can figure out the effect? |
