I remember I had a character long long ago that had done it, I think with a feat chain. but I do not remember the names nor can I find the character sheet.
Personal --> touch --> Reach (30')
not very helpful I know but at least there is something somewhere in 3rd edition

no, nor should there be in 3.5. That sounds like a 4E thing tho, anything that blurs the lines between classes which 4E allegedly is doing. In 3.5 D&D, the class lines are separated by the use of Personal spells that can not be shared without expense (like ring of spell storing, etc.)

12-21-07, 10:59 PM You can put area spells that could normally only be centered on the caster into arrows and shoot enemies with them with 2 levels of Arcane Archer.
Nice for AMF and greater fireburst.
