| Darkprince09-12-05, 02:09 PM | What ways are there to lower the cost of scribing scrolls and scribing spells into your spellbook? I know magical artisan helps with scrolls, and guilds can help with adding to the spellbook, but are there any other ways? I'm a firm believer that a Wizard should have a scroll of every spell he knows, and should try his hardest to learn every spell possible, so you can see where a lot of my cash goes/will go to. A little help please. |
| WotCWannabe09-12-05, 02:15 PM | there are 2 feats in eberron (i forget their names) one reduces the gold cost by 25%, the other reduces the xp cost. as for getting more spells known, collegiate wizard goes a LONG way to help that. it's a feat in complete arcane that's not in the feats section, it's in like magical training or something. you can find it in the november, 2004 previews though. |

| ninja109-12-05, 04:55 PM | With a name like Darkprince, I'd guess you'd like the Book of Vile Darkness.... Dark Craft gp/xp, liquid pain, and souls as power??? After a while, you'd forget that scrolls actually cost xp/gp to make! :D |
| Darkprince09-13-05, 12:09 PM | Ironically though, I usually don't play evil characters.(causes problems in the group) |
| ninja109-13-05, 12:15 PM | problems? :schemes: :) If you don't mind a good aligned scroll, then there's the Distilled Joy method... I know this might not help for your group, but I've house ruled neutral versions of Distilled Joy/Liquid Pain, and neutral and good versions of Ritual Sacrifice. |
