Chill touch, as most of us know, allows you to make one touch per level. So if you have handfang cast on you, does it do the 1D8 points every time you touch with chill touch? Additionally, if you took a level in rouge, could you not apply 1D6 sneak attack damage to every touch, since they are considered different attacks (and can even strike different enemies)? The two spells are below. Chill Touch Necromancy Level: Sor/Wiz 1 Components: V, S Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Touch Targets: Creature or creatures touched (up to one/level) Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Fortitude partial or Will negates; see text Spell Resistance: Yes A touch from your hand, which glows with blue energy, disrupts the life force of living creatures. Each touch channels negative energy that deals 1d6 points of damage. The touched creature also takes 1 point of Strength damage unless it makes a successful Fortitude saving throw. You can use this melee touch attack up to one time per level. An undead creature you touch takes no damage of either sort, but it must make a successful Will saving throw or flee as if panicked for 1d4 rounds +1 round per caster level. 3rd level: Handfang(LoD p187)(RoF p190) <Necro[Evil], VS, 1StdAct, Personal, 1 rnd/lvl> A fanged mouth grows on the caster’s palm. If the caster touches an opponent, it takes 1D8 damage (ref ½). If the opponent fails it’s saving throw, the caster may initiate a grapple as a Free Action without generating an attack of opportunity. If a hold is established, the mouth can continue to bite for 1D8 per round. |

A sneak attack is the knowledge of the opponent’s vital areas and hitting them when the opponent is unawares. Although it is a touch attack, it would translate into knowing were to touch so that the negative energy does the most damage. |
