In such a case, i would think that it would meen something that is in the direct center would take 8d4 damage. am i correct in this overlaping idea, or would the unlucky fella just take 2d4 for being withen 10 feet of a side? |
| Seeker9501-26-06, 12:15 PM | It is a good tactic. But it does not cause extra damage. |
| tarkin01-26-06, 12:20 PM | Like all spells with area effects, the area effect can NOT be doubled. Lighting bolts do not bounce, and being in a confined fireball area does not mean you take double damage cause the fire in constrained. If you are in the area, you are affected as normal. 2d4, not 8d4. |
| tarkin01-26-06, 12:29 PM | Error, ignore |
| Auorix01-26-06, 01:16 PM | Do evards black tentacles inside the wall of fire radius first for some heated snuggle parties. |
| Shadowfax701-26-06, 01:29 PM | Note that besides taking 2d4 damage/round, the victim within the "Ring of Fire" effect of a Wall of Fire will probably also have to go through the Wall of Fire to get out, taking an add'l 2d6 +1/level of fire damage. |
