Are there a feat to reduce the cost or the time for the creation of a magic item ?

12-02-06, 08:46 AM As far as I know, unless you have a PrC or feat to decrease time, the creation of any magical item(wonderous, weapons..etc) is 1day/1000gp.

There is a feat in the Players Guide to Faerun, Magical Artisan that reduces the cost of any item creation feat by 25%.

There was also a feat that I saw, non wizards, that was called the research triad. You could decrease one of the 3 parts of item creation(time, money, exp) by increasing another. So you could decrease the money needed by taking longer, or spending more exp..etc.

As for advancing golems, the information is located in the original monster manual entry: 5,000gp for each additional HD beyond the normal HD for a golem of that type. Xp cost is 1/25 the golems market price minuse the cost of special materials required.

12-08-06, 09:16 PM Well I looked up the feat again in the netbook of feats, and was unable to find one for magical items. I'm sure you could apply it easily to item creation though.
