Greets all, just want to be absolutely certain on this one. The Spell Tenser's Transformation turns you into a fighting machine with stat bouses, ect. It also says (from the SRD 3.5):
"Your base attack bonus equals your character level (which may give you multiple attacks)."
So if you were level 25, then you would get a +25, +20, +15, +10, and a +5 attack sequence (5 attacks), per full attack action, yeah? There's not some catch that because you are epic level the spell breaks or anything?

Thanks!

Sorry, but the catch you mentioned does exist, and it is found in the Epic book like you said.

BAB's only grant upto 4 attacks, no matter how high it gets.

There are no more iterative attacks after BAB 16.

So if you were level 25, then you would get a +25, +20, +15, +10, and a +5 attack sequence (5 attacks), per full attack action, yeah?Yes. But you went in as a wizard, with the equipment you owned or managed to put on in the time immediately leading up to the combat. It is a really nice spell, but it should be. You basically become a better attacker than the firghter, but I'll bet you didn't put your money into the same type of equipment that allows the fighter to be a better fighter. Combat is more than attacking. it also includes doing damage and surviving on defense.

Seeker is correct, but he left out the two major weakeness

Feats. A fighter without feats is a weak thing

Dispell Magic. Nasty way to lose a lot of power.

Feats is the real killer. Compare a warrior (generic fighter with no feats) and a Spiked Chain fighter, the Spiked Chain man is going to crush the warrior.

Those combat feats really make the difference.

That's why you cast spells like Mage Armor, Displacement and the like before beefing yourself up with Tenser's (and blow away your magical abilites). With luck, you'll get some of what you lack in feats with magic "power-ups".
