Does the Identify spell, as listed as a Domain spell under the Magic DOmain, require a material component when cast by a cleric? I can't find anything that says it does, and the spell itself says 'Arcane Material Component'.

Clerics with the magic domain do not require an arcane material component, as their magic is divine, not arcane.

Yes, this means that they cast it for free, while the wizard pays 100GP in components each time. However, the cleric can only cast it once aday, and its a 2nd level spell for him, not 1st.

Which is just another reason why the Cloistered Cleric variant from UA kicks so much ass. Identify is a 1st-level class spell for 'em, as is several other good (but often underestimated) Wizard spells like illusory script.
