POPE 03-05-04, 03:43 PM	Is there any spell or magic item that can raise a cleric's[multiclassed] ability to turn undead? If not can someone help me to create one? I know that by taking other classes it greatly reduces a cleric's turning ability, I was just wondering if there is a way to get it back. Short of a wish that is. Thanks.

Seeker95 03-05-04, 05:12 PM	I would just give a holy symbol a weapon enhancement like bane: undead and have it add +1 to turning for effective caster level (meaning it will not let you turn something your normal caster level would not turn). Of course, there is probably something very broken about it, but I can't think of it off the top of my head.
Finarin Panjoro 03-05-04, 05:19 PM	Phylactery of Undead Turning in the 3.5 DMG. It lets anyone who can turn undead turn as though they were 4 levels higher. I believe it costs 11,000 gp. I created a lesser phylactery of undead turning which let a cleric or paladin turn undead as though 2 levels higher which cost 4000 gp. A poster named Kaston actually gave me the formula for pricing an item which increases the level of a class ability. It is (Xsquared+X+2)x 500 gp where X equals the bonus. So you get the following costs per bonus: +1: 2000. +2: 4000. (2x2+2+2)x 500 gp =4000 gp +3: 7000. +4: 11000. (4x4+4+2)x 500 gp =11000 gp +5: 16000. +6: 22000. Hope that helps. -Finarin
