That means I get three bonus spells; one 1st-level, one 2nd-level and one 3rd-level. I understand in the case of sorcerers, bards and even wizards, when there is a max of spells known to the caster (or, for the wizard, a certain number of spells written in his spellbook), why they don't get all their bonus spells at their first level. However, since clerics only have a restriction on spells per day, and that the bonus spells are listed as spells per day, wouldn't I get those 2nd and 3rd-level spells right now? It seems a little too powerful, but only for the first few levels. i.e.: I wouldn't get another 3rd-level spell before Cleric 6 (or something like that) Am I reading this wrong? |
