Cloak of Shade question from SandStorm : Don't have book @ work. [Archive] - Wizards Community

I have a player who is fatigued in sun, would this spell protect him?

07-12-07, 10:02 AM From my read of the spell it doesn't sound like it.. I think it is meant to protect normal characters from intense exposure to the sun, but not change a characters normal vulnerabilities. It's a little unclear since fatigue isn't "damage" - the word used in the spell.

07-12-07, 10:23 AM Cloak of shade most likely will not protect you but the spell Cloak of Dark power form the Drow Domain in the Spell Compendium will. It removes all sunlight penalties, and possibly even protects vampires and other sun sensitive undead.
