04-07-06, 07:31 AM Is there such a thing as a cloak of night or shadows. I know there is a cloak of darkness, but I have not heard of these before. It just hit me that if there is such a thing or that it could be made then it would help me character out.

If this is to give a vampire the ability to go out in the sun, chances are it won't work. If there is enough light for the vampire to see outside, sunlight is reaching the vampire.

04-07-06, 10:49 AM There are magic items that let vampires go out in the sun. I can't see a regular cloak as being effective in combat, and non-combat isn't that important.

04-07-06, 10:50 AM The cloak would when worn is like the person is in the night. When someone looks at the person wearing the cloak they can see nothing of that person, not their face, hands, legs, or even eyes. It is almost like the cloak is floating along by itself. The cloak covers all of that persons body when worn correctly.
