Ok, now I've heared that the Evil Epic Wizard of Faerun casts the Clone Stasis and that it helps him greatly.

Now, I've wondered what it does...

Maybe there's a SRD with the spell?

I've got the Faerun books, but I don't have that Lords of Darkness where it is contained :(

Just tell me what it does in a short description.

Do you still lose a level when someone slays you and you return to your clone?

Please help me :)

Stasis Clone is exactly the same as Clone except that you can cast it before you're dead, and it sits in stasis waiting for you to die, at which point it kicks in automatically and brings you back to life. Level loss is exactly the same as Clone.

For some reason, I had thought the original Clone spell kicked in automatically if you died after creating it, assuming you kept it fresh via other means (eg, Gentle Repose), but I guess I was wrong.

good old Manshoon.

By the way, is it just me or does Manshoon look like Cobra Commander from GI Joe?
