Now here comes the question, one part state 4 to 6 HD are slain if they fail a save but then it goes on later to say things that are 6HD or above only have to save or lose con... So what happens if the thing caught in the Cloudkill is exactly at 6HD? |

| SALDAR02-21-05, 09:04 PM | No. Although other things within the game tend to come in threes, such as 3d6 for abilities, 3 saves (Fort, Ref, Will), 3 choices for each alignment component (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic and Good, Neutral, Evil), a feat every 3 levels, and so on. It also refences a philosophy used in the Planescape Setting (2ed) that things come or occur in groups of three, although this is not the original source of the concept as it has been around for some time. I was just using this as a basis for my views on the subject since it seemed to apply so well. |
