The text of Clutch of Orcus says that "If the victim dies as a result of this spell, his chest ruptures and bursts, and his smoking heart appears in the caster's hand." Is a heart gained in this fashion viable as an evil spell component using the rules from chapter 3 of the BoVD? It doesn't say that the heart is damaged, just smoking, and it doesn't say that the heart actually bursts from the chest, just that the chest bursts and the heart apears in the caster's hand. Is this an easy way to harvest organs from a distance? |
