| Andreas081510-08-05, 01:06 PM | Hi, i look forward to play a warlock soon, and my DM has allowed me to make suggestions for selfmade invocations. I want to be a Springattacking sneaky Warlock and i need help with a invocation for it. My background is a little bit different from standard warlock, my mother had a pakt with a Nightwalker and he (btw the plane of shadow) is the source of my powers... I will start at level 8 without weapon finesse. So now i need suggestions for a lesser, greater and dark invocation to use as my "combat form" (i think it should work a lot like "alter self"). I will swap the old out as soon as i can take the new one. I thought of: Lesser: Str +2, +4 racial bonus on Hide and Move silently, grants light Fortification as armor Special Ability The shadows surounding me are deeper as normal and conceal my exact position Greater: Str +4, +6 racial bonus on Hide and Move silently, grant medium Fortification and a Desecrating Aura (like the nightwalkers) Dark: Str +6, +8 bonus on Hide and Move silently, heavy Fortification, Desecrating Aura and every enemy (with as much or lesser HD than my casterlevel) attacked by me must make a Willsave against Casterlevel + Ch-Mod or become shackend. If he pass the save he is immune to this for 24h. Multiple failed saves from the same enemy does not stack to Frightened. This is a mind affecting ability. So, what do you think? To strong, to weak? How can this be improved (fluff or crunch)? Complete different ideas for a combatform are welcome, too... |
