There's a spell in Book of Exalted Deeds with the "celestial" component. What exactly does that mean? The spell in question is "Call Faithful Servants". Anyone have any idea how to get a "celestial" component?

probably means you have to be a celestial.

much like the breath attack requirements for many spells in the draconomicon.

chances are it actually explains that at the start of the chapter in the BoED.

Either by becoming a celestial via the template, or by the spell channel celestial.

Otherwise, it's pretty much just for astral devas and the like.

BoED goes through the different unusual components at the beginning of the Spells section.

The Celestial component is rough to acquire, but it can be done. You need to have the Outsider type and the Good subtype. Polymorph, Polymorph Any Object, and Miracle are all possibilities.
