I've never played a magic user so am a little rusty on certain spots.

One question I had was do clerics, druids or bards require spell components?

Yup. Any spell with an "M" listed under components, whether its arcane, divine, cleric, druid, or whatnot. Also note that a lot of cleric spells require the cleric to have their holy symbol around as a "divine focus".

Hrmmm, ok, thanks.

Second question:
How in the world does any spell-using creature have enough room on their person for enough spell components over the course of weeks or months?

You're assumed to be constantly refilling your spell-component pouch as you are adventuring. I think there was a Rules of the Game article suggesting some rules for scrounging up a specific component when needed.

Hrmmm, will look for that, however, this is to be a wilderness campaign I'm starting with next to no towns for at least the first couple months of play. Do magic users generally have to have towns to buy components from?
