Composte Heap Transmutation Level: Drd 3 Components: V, S Casting Time: 1 action Range: Short (25 ft + 5 ft/2 levels) Targets: One or more undead creatures, all of whom must be within 30 feet of each other. Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Fort Negates Spell Resistance: Yes Upon completion of the casting of this spell, corporeal undead within the area of this spell must make a Fort save. Failure indicates that the creature's physical form is rapidly accelerated through the normal decay process, and transmuted into rich compost, suitable for farming. This spell can affect 1 target per caster level. This spell has no effect on incorporeal undead, living, non-organic creatures or objects. |

I would probably set it up so that it works like this: Works on a single creature, and: HD = your caster level or greater, creature takes 1d4/level HD = less than your caster level, but greater than 1/2 your caster level, creature takes 1d8/level HD = 1/2 your caster level or lower = creature is destroyed. Second: People can claim that undead don't undergo "normal decay". I would reword it as: "Failure indicates that the creature's physical form undergoes a rapid decay process and is transmuted into rich compost, suitable for farming." Finally, change it from Fort to a Will Save (undead don't do Fort saves) |
