I saw a couple of spells that gave the duration as Concentraion + x rounds. I would like to know how long the spell lasts. For example and spell that has concentration + 1 round. Does the spellcaster have to continue making a Con check ( If so whats the DC)? Or is it one check and that = the # of rounds.

Thx in advance!

It lasts for X rounds after the caster stops concentrating.
For more information on "concentration" check the index of the Player's Handbook.

Concentrating to maintain a spell is a standard action that does not draw attacks of opportunity. If you were injured or distracted while concnetrating on the spell, you would have to make a conenctrate check to keep the thing going. If that makes sense.

The "+ ..." starts as soon as you are no longer concentrating, whether by accident or on purpose. So you could keep such a spell going as long as you concentrate on it, and then let it "dissapate" over those extra rounds.
