I am almost positive I saw it somewhere, whether it was a feat or prestige class feature I can't remember. Anyone know if this is actually out there somewhere and where I can find it. |

| hangman103-05-07, 06:57 PM | The concentration feats in Complete Adventurer allow you to move or do other actions while concentrating but specifically prohibit casting a second spell. Thanks elporko for pointing out Sonorous Hum, that should be helpful. It works as a 3rd level wizard spell, but the mechanics suggest you have to cast it beforehand. Ideally, I would like a feature that allows me to concentrate on an ilusion spell and (only if I need to) cast another. Anybody else have any ideas. |

However the rules on concentration do specifically say that you can't cast another spell while concentrating. From the Magic section of the SRD: Concentration: The spell lasts as long as you concentrate on it. Concentrating to maintain a spell is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Anything that could break your concentration when casting a spell can also break your concentration while you’re maintaining one, causing the spell to end. You can’t cast a spell while concentrating on another one. Sometimes a spell lasts for a short time after you cease concentrating. |
