| NeueRegel08-10-07, 11:13 PM | That's a tough one, but I think historically, since it's constitution based, I'd say "amulet". But you could argue for a headpiece if you wanted to say "mental", etc. I'm sure you already have something in mind, and are asking because you already have a magic item that you don't want to give up. *wink* Neue |
| runestar08-10-07, 11:36 PM | Probably headpiece, but that has the problem of conflicting with headband of intellect. |
| Horseshoe_Hermit08-11-07, 01:54 AM | You could take a page from Earthbound and make it something like a ring. There's an item called the Brain Stone that one character brings to your group. It allows the possessor to "concentrate without using his own mind." (mechanically, you could not suffer the status change "Unable to use PSI!") It doesn't really explain what's going on, but I figure you somehow use the stone... instead of your own head... to think. So you could make a ring of concentration, or amulet. |

And if you've got an item that occupies a slot you want but only improves AC, natural armor, an ability, or saving throws, or adds energy resistance, then you can add the Concentration bonus in the same item without a price hike; see Magic Item Compendium pages 233-234. |
