09-21-05, 11:58 PM For spells that require you to concentrate, (i.e. ult sphere of annihilation.) can you cast a spell while you concentrate on it with a concentration check? I thought you could but it could just be a mix up between, D&D and somthing else.

09-22-05, 12:08 AM maintaining concentration requires a standard action each round, leaving you with a move action, which is not enough to cast a spell (unless the spell is quickened or a free action to begin with).

09-22-05, 02:35 AM Look up concentration in the PH index, and spell durations. You'll find that you cannot cast another spell (or do anything requiring concentration) while concentrating to maintain a spell.
