| Duration_10_Rounds04-05-06, 03:53 PM | How would conflicting charm spells work? For example.... An evil bard charms an ogre to be his bodyguard for the day, saying: "Let no one into my tent".... Good-Bard, quested to "take out" Bad-Bard, charms the ogre as he stands outside Bad-Bards tent... and says "Let me pass, im your buddy, Shhhhh dont tell Bad-Bard... its a surprise" Now does the Ogre carry out his first "Let no one pass" instruction or does he let his new "friend" pass? Or do the charm spells duke it out insome opposed check? |

So, if one of your friend asked you to make sure no one entered, and another friend said "let me in it's a surprise", what would you do? Me personally, I would say: Hey joe. thats not a good idea. He's in a really bad mood. Come back tomorrow. The Good bard might be able to get in with a combination of: 1) Bluff 2) Diplomacy. on top of the Charm spell. But even then, chances are the Ogre would follow the good bard in to make sure everything went OK. |
