Conjuration or Transmutation [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-23-08, 05:54 PM I am making my first wizard, and I want to be a god.

I read the guide to being a god and am basing my wizard largely on that.

I was wondering which school should I specialize in Conjuration or Transmutation?

Also, should I take the Unearthed Arcana Wizard Specialization variants, or one of the magic domain(ua) instead, or just stick to being a regular specialized wizard?

If your DM is letting you use UA variants, be a Rapid Summoning Conjurer. Familiars are for wimps anyway.

Also check out Complete Mage for useful Reserve Feats and Master Specialist PrC. Combine the UA Rapid Summoning Conjurer with being a Master Specialist and summoning is really awesome -- the Reserve Feat you can use with teleportation magic is similarly awesome.
