I keep having this image of this really ruining the parade that the commoners were planning on having. Sure it's 7th level, and really only works against weak/damaged critters (will it affect undead? doesn't specify a creature type) and you have to find a way (I suppose) to bring your opponents down to between 9 and -9 hp (the spell buffs you only for the deaths of those the spell itself kills). Anyone using this spell? It seems to be calling for some juicy tactical combinations!! Feedback appreciated. |

But yeah, I've had some entertaining scenario's play through my head when reading this spell. The power you could accumulate walking through a small town is bad enough. Imagine what you could do in a large city, especially with uncapped str gain. As far as combos go, wait till your CL reaches the max boost and then unleash your favorite holy word derivative. Combined with divine spell power and a strand of prayer beads...*shudder.* If you're having trouble finding creatures weak enough to kill easily with GCF, you could always preface it with a summon spell to call a bunch of low hd goons. Empower it to get more creatures with a single casting. |
