Bogardt 11-20-05, 07:55 PM	Okay, I've made a cleric with two elemental domains. However, I'm having some trouble figuring out how controlling elementals actually works. I know it works like controlling undead, but I've had a hard time finding answers to my questions with regards to undead either. How do intelligent elementals react towards being commanded? Are they in awe of the cleric, and do what he tells them with enthusiasm? Or are they grudgingly controlled? Do they have to be instructed every step of the way, or can they be given broad instructions, like scouting or delivering messages, ect. Does anyone know where I can find this kind of information, even if only for undead? I did a search of the website, but couldn't find it discussed anywhere. Thanks in advance.
MindWandererB 11-20-05, 09:52 PM	Well, the description of the ability in the PHB describes it as "mental control." That suggests that it works like the dominate spells. See dominate person for specifics.
