One of the other players has decided on playing a warlock/cleric/eldritch theurge. What I want to know is this: If he uses his ability to mix in eldritch blast with a spell, can I attempt to use cooperative metamagic on it, and if I do, do I totally ignore the eldritch blast effect or will that get enhanced as well? |

If the other caster is going to cast the same spell "simultaneously" I would say that he has to also devote a full-round to that casting. Other than that, I see no problem. If the essence requires a saving throw, use the normal save DC for that essence. Based on this, I would not make any changes to DCs related to the essence, and apply them only to the spell itself, if applicable. |
