I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the Player's Handbook.

Don't things like mirror image, major image, mislead, and project image cover that kinda stuff?

TBF, your limb is sturdy.
RML, you need simply to read the spells listed in the Player's Handbook... the only book you need to play Dungeons & Dragons.

I like these options:
1. Use Simulacrum,Or
2. Use Feindform or some other spell to make your type Outsider(Elemental would do as well).
Cast Greater Shadow Conjuration or Shades to emulate a Planar Binding spell.
Make a Shadow duplicate of your self.
Use your supirior equipment/preperations to get the jump on"yourself".
Use Curses ,Charms and Domintions, to control "yourself"...

1. Mirror Image, Player's Handbook.

2. Most other "______ Illusion" spells, Player's Handbook.

3. Giant Growth (Complete Arcane, maybe Oriental Adventures) and Polymorph Other (Player's Handbook) a worm.

4. Body Outside Body makes real clones of yourself (Complete Arcane or Oriental Adventures)

The basic "illusionary copies of self spells" are:

Mirror Image
Mislead (one image, you are invisible, you must concentrate)
Project Image

Then there are the ones that other people mentioned, that are poor copies instead of illusions,
