ahem, as the draconomicon showed, you can use any meta magic feat, change its level to a round increiment, and add it to a dragon to get a meta breath feat.

reversing that procedure has given me the idea for two meta magic feats

Lingering Spell- your areas spells create a cloud which lingers for one round, anyone entering or spending a round in the area suffers 1/2 the spells damage (a saving throw is aloud), +2 levels

Clinging Spell- this feat causes the affected spell to linger, the spell has its normal effect, and coats the subject in energy, dealing 1/2 damage again next round. the target(s) can attempt to remove the clinging energy, gaining an additonal saving throw, rolling on the ground grants a +2 bonus, but leaves them prone, +1 level

Easy Spell- your spells go up 1 less level when using a meta magic feat. the effect never reduces the level increase below 1. you can take this feat once.

Spreading Spell- instead of its normal area you can make an area spell become a spread centered around you, with size depending on level (0-1 10 feet, 2-3 15 feet, 4-5 20 feet, 6-7 25 feet, 8 30 feet, 9 35 feet), +2 levels

Shape Spell- >.> ok i havnt decided on how to work that out yet, suggestions?

Tempest Spell- your area spells also strike with a wind depending on thier level (0-1 Moderate, 2-3 Strong, 4-5 Sever, 6-7 Windstorm, 8 Huricane, 9 Tornado), +1

Extended Spreading Spell- as spreading spell but it can come from anywhere within a distance equal to x4 its radious, +2 levels

*NOTE* for effects that dont deal damage, instead decrease save DC by 4 instead of havening damage

There is a feat that does this already in the epic level book. This is an epic feat. Maybe the DMG in the epic stuff, I don't have my books with me.

true, but you can take the epic feat multiple times, this is once max.

the copy write infringement is a joke, im stealing the ideas from the draconomicon, get it? >.> ahem...

I believe the Shape Spell feat already exists, although I forget whether it was in the T&B splat book or the Magic of Faerun book.

These are good ideas, but seriously need to be playtested. I really am unsure about a 2nd level spell slot being used for a clinging magic missle cast at 9th level of experience. Hmm... 5d4+5 and an additional (5d4+5)/2 the next round? That averages to 26.25 points for a 2nd level slot. Compare that to the same 9th level caster's fireball averaging 31.5 from a 3rd level slot. 5.25 more damage doesn't sound like much until you factor in that magic missle is nearly unavoidable and doesn't have a save to avoid or half it's affects. And I dread a maximized, clinging magic missle. Like I said, playtest it sometime.
