| Alsark05-10-07, 05:46 PM | A player of mine in one of my campaigns was wondering if a feat known as "Corpse Crafter," which is basically an augmented summoning spell for the undead, would work with Warlock invocations that summon the undead. While the Corpse Crafter feat was made for wizards for their cast spells, I was wondering whether or not it would work with a warlock's invocations. Thanks for your help ahead of time! |
| mad_warlock05-10-07, 06:36 PM | They work just fine. The Dead Walk works in all ways as Animate Dead, and therefore any feats he may have that boosts animate dead, such as any abilities that allow him to control extra undead, also effect this feat. Corpsecrafter is a good example. |

| Master905-10-07, 07:31 PM | for everything that works on a spell, there's an alternate feat to work on spell like abilities. That just means he has to pick his invocation or actual wizard spells if he multiclasses, but thats a very minor technicality in my opinion and not a game breaking one. |

Where's my Eschew Materials for Spell Like abilities :P Anyway, what he's saying is technically not true. There are spell-like ability equivalents for *many* spell feats, but some of them, not just ones that don't make sense like Eschew Materials don't officially exist. As far as I know, Corpse Crafter is one you'd have to house rule, so check with your GM. |
