We tend to just jump from story to story with little time between one's beginning and the other's end, which I consider a good thing. Anyway, the DM said to feel free to experiment with classes we've been itching to take a stab at, because he's laid back as far as character restriction goes. I picked up Heroes of Horror from his collection and thumbed through it because I'm a big fan of the horror genre, and decided I'd like to take a LN or NN Dread Necromancer out for a spin. Now, the matter of the actual question; Since I'll be playing around with undead as a PC for the first time, I looked through Libris Mortis for some inspiration. One of the feats, Corpsecrafter, seemed like it'd be a real boon. First, the description below, word for word -- Benefit: Each undead you raise or create with any necromancy spell gains a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength and +2 hit points per Hit Die. Bottom line: If I conjure an undead with any of the Summon Undead spells, will I not benefit from Corpsecrafter since I'm not really "raise or create"-ing it? |
