| mushraeddur11-21-05, 07:54 PM | I was thinking about having a ring of tongues made for my familiar...assuming he could use it at all. I was trying to price the cost of one...and I think it will be a little of 10,000 gp. Is my calculation correct? I've never made or had a magical item made. Thanks. |

| Seeker9511-21-05, 08:04 PM | Ring = SL x CL x 2000 x Duration modifier. I default to wizard for spell level. 3 x 5 x 2000 x 1.5 = 45,000gp If you make it use activated instead of continuous it will cost only 30,000gp. (Half that to create, assuming you have the Forge Ring item creation feat.) |
